Brian joined the firm in 2008. He received his Bachelor's degree from Milligan College, graduating cum laude with a degree in Business Administration in 2004. After college, Brian attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, Macon, Georgia, where he completed his J.D. in 2008. While at Mercer, Brian was actively involved in its Legal Aid Volunteer Association serving as volunteer with numerous organizations including: Georgia Legal Services; Georgia Appleseed: Justice for People with Mental Illness; and the Houston County Public Defender. Prior to joining Philips-Branch, Brian clerked with the Office of the Circuit Public Defender in Macon, Georgia, in its major felonies division.
Brian is admitted to practice in both Georgia and Alabama and is also a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Columbus Bar Association. His practice includes general liability, consumer fraud, and medical/professional negligence.
